These terms apply to your use of the Rod247 app and website operated by Rod247. By creating an account or making a booking you agree to them.
The service
Rod247 lets you book individual seats on shared rides on fixed routes, or a whole vehicle for a one-way trip between two places. Rides are driven by independent drivers whose documents we verify before they can accept bookings.
Bookings and payment
- The fare is shown before you pay. You pay an advance online; the remaining balance is paid to the driver at pickup.
- One-way cab fares are calculated from the road distance between your pickup and drop and the per-km rate of the cab type. Toll tax, parking and state permit charges are extra and payable by the rider.
- A booking is held for a few minutes while you pay. Unpaid holds are released automatically.
- Bookings are confirmed by our team. If we cannot confirm a booking, the advance is refunded as described in the Cancellation & refund policy.
Travel rules
- Be at the pickup point on time and share your pickup code only with your driver.
- Follow the luggage policy shown before payment (normally one bag per passenger).
- Illegal items, alcohol consumption in the vehicle and abusive behaviour are not allowed. The driver may refuse service in such cases without a refund.
Accounts
You are responsible for activity on your account. Provide accurate details, and do not share OTPs with anyone. We may suspend accounts that misuse the Service.
Drivers
Drivers must hold valid licences, registration, permits and insurance, keep their documents up to date and follow traffic laws. Payments collected from riders at pickup belong to the driver as agreed with the operator.
Liability
We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but travel times are estimates and delays can happen due to traffic, weather or other events beyond our control. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that booking.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Patna, Bihar have jurisdiction. Please contact us first using the contact details on our Contact page so we can try to resolve any issue.
